MJB Studio is the creative platform of Manuel J Barrio AKA Mowgli

I am a highly creative, multi-skilled individual with a broad range of experience in the creative industry. My background covers graphic design, web and user interface design, animation, motion graphics, illustration, art direction, live video performance (vjing), video art, interactive art, audiovisual art and product design. My wide range of skills ensures a holistic approach to any project undertaken.

I have taken whole campaigns from concept to delivery, created brand identities and designed for top media and e-commerce websites working both client side and at top London and multi-national agencies. My portfolio contains work for blue-chip clients and super-brands from most industries and sectors, please refer to the clients section to know more.

Under the name Mowgli I explore the worlds of technology and art, vjing for music acts like Roisin Murphy or Infected Mushroom and performing at festivals like Burning Man and The Big Chill. I also create video content for live shows having been responsible for the touring visuals of Above & Beyond while working for NE1CO. My work under this name has been screened at Kinetika Art Fair and premiered at the BFI Southbank. My explorations include holographic projection, video mapping, interactive and generative visualisations and sonic experimentation often collaborating with international artists.
